As the Subaru Outback received its 5 star ANCAP rating with load rated tyres (800kg), it is a requirements that any replacement wheels and tyres fitted to the vehicle must have an equal or higher rating than those tested. The Hankook Dynapro AT-m tyre has a rating of 900kg so it exceeds the original specification.
This All Terrain tyre size has been selected to replace the OE 18" (225/60/18) tyre to offer greater sidewall height for low pressure running whilst maintaining speedo accuracy and load rating.
