The installation is very simple. You don't need to remove the bonnet. In addition, holes are pre-drilled to attach the wire to the bracket with tie wrap for a clean installation.

Almost perfect
The brackets fit great, nice and thick so strong as you could possibly want. Minimal, if any, vibration so lights (or whatever you're securing) stays rock solid. My only gripe with them is that all of the edges have a bit of a nasty bur, didn't have a deburring tool so I had to take some wet dry sand paper to it. Other than that these are great!
